Lori Miller

President and Owner of Better Brain Balance

Hello! My name is Lori. I am the owner and president of Better Brain Balance. I help people that don’t know what steps to take to get back on track. I coach and guide clients to take the right steps to improve brain health and cognitive function. My clients have an opportunity to learn and practice personalized training with tools and skills outside of their usual experience and knowledge base.
“I always knew I wanted to take time to meditate and master breathing (I had heard it really helps athletic performance). But I never seemed to get around to it until Lori talked about the benefits during my training session. We practiced in her office, and before I knew it, I was doing the exercises at home, everyday! It is easy to incorporate them into my morning routine, and it adds so much.”
Not that meditation is the only path to a healthy brain. Tuning up daily habits (including physical fitness and activity, eating right, sleeping well, handling stress with ease, learning new skills at home, work, and play), are all part of the balance and self-regulation that leads to optimal brain health.

One client put it this way: “I always knew I wanted to take time to meditate and master breathing (I had heard it really helps athletic performance). But I never seemed to get around to it until Lori talked about the benefits during my training session. We practiced in her office, and before I knew it, I was doing the exercises at home, every day! It is easy to incorporate them into my morning routine, and it adds so much.”

Meditation, mindfulness, and breathwork certainly can be part of restoring healthy brain wave patterns. The operant word here is “patterns.” We find that tuning up daily habits (getting enough physical activity, maintaining physical fitness, eating right, sleeping well, navigating and managing stress, continuing to learn at home, work, and play) are all part of the ongoing balance and self-regulation that leads to optimal brain health.
